Since sometime in October, new Mods subscribed via the Steam Workshop don't show up in the Arma 3 launcher and the game itself. Steam downloads them without issue to the Steam\SteamApps\workshop\content\107410 folder. But they are not copied over to the Arma 3 folder where all mods are being stored by default.

Archived if u login to steam, subscribe to a few mods.then close steam, use the skyrim launcher, it will download the mods. they will all packaged in one bsa file per mod. close skyrim launcher after update, open nmm or w/e mod manager u use, and they are there in the load mod order I believe this is something about Steam's server again as in the past, I had trouble downloading the mods list. It used to show up as steam id numbers for the mod folders but Iceman fixed it. As for the Workshop mods not installing, when you subscribe to a mod through the Steam client (make sure it's through the Steam client itself), you should see a download go through as if a game was installing. If not, it may be folder permissions messing it up. Civ 5 on Mac does not have mod support, which Steam does not acknowledge anywhere. Last I checked, I could subscribe to mods, and Steam would actually say it's downloading them, but there is no dialog for enabling mods in-game, and last I checked, there is not even a way to hack in partial mod support anymore, as there was early on. The problem is my game isn't downloading the mods I subscribe to through steam. I check the data files every time and the new mods are not showing up. The mods I'm trying to get don't seem to have any special installation requirements either, so I have no idea why they aren't working. This is nothing to do with Steam Downloader and the API, and everything to do with the publisher of the game not enabling those who don't own the game on Steam to download workshop mods. The API Steam downloader (and similar web pages and tools) uses is a web-based API - it never had anything to do with the game itself.
